The firm's attorneys have a long history of litigating aviation cases, going back to the crash of Eastern flight 212 in Charlotte, in 1974, to today, with the firm’s involvement in the litigation stemming from the Air-Midwest crash in January of 2003 at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.
Our attorneys have substantial experience in the field of aviation products liability and have substantial knowledge and experience relating to aviation insurance coverage issues. Both Rod Dean and Susan Hofer are also Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) Legal Service Plan Attorneys, representing pilots and mechanics in FAA enforcement actions. Ms. Hofer is also an Officer in the Lawyer Pilots Bar Association.
