Amy Drayton joined Dean & Gibson, L.L.P. in July of 2005. She practices primarily in the areas of insurance defense, general civil litigation, personal injury and premises liability.

Originally from Elizabethton, Tennessee , in 2000, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Carson-Newman College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Human Services.  In 2004, she graduated Cum Laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School , located in Lansing, Michigan .  While in law school she served as the Symposium Editor for the Law Review, competed in National Moot Court Competition, and interned for Senior Judge Richard F. Suhrheinrich of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Amy is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the United States District Court for the Western, Middle and Eastern Districts of North Carolina.
