Sarah M. Bowman joined Dean & Gibson, PLLC in February, 2009. She practices general civil litigation. Originally from Augusta, Georgia, Sally graduated from The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, with a Bachelor of Arts degree for a double-major in Art History and French Studies. She spent her junior year studying abroad in Paris, France, where she attended the Sorbonne and traveled throughout Europe. After graduating from Sewanee, she spent a year working for a small general litigation firm in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Sally then attended Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, Georgia. While at Mercer she was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity. She also worked for two civil litigation firms and interned with the Macon Judicial Circuit's District Attorney's Office.

After graduating from Mercer and moving to Charlotte, Sally spent a year practicing real estate law before joining the firm.
